ABOUT THE KINGDOM OF BAHRAIN
The Kingdom of Bahrain was the home of the ancient Dilmun civilization, internationally famed for its pearl fisheries which in the 19th century were considered the best in the world. It sits near the north-eastern coast of Saudi Arabia in the Arabian Gulf and occupies 33 islands. Its largest landmass, Bahrain Island is connected to Saudi Arabia by the King Fahd Causeway. The Kingdom has been at the heart of major trade routes since the dawn of antiquity and its modern capital, Manama, still bustles with commerce, from its Bab al-Bahrain bazaar to the striking headquarters of global banks and Bahrain Bay now stands as the jewel of the capital.
OUR STORY
As Bahrain was the land of the ancient civilization of Dilmun, it was considered since as a commercial center linking the East with the West.
Bahrain has emerged as a prominent commercial crossroads in the Gulf region, and became a home for investment and trade; facilitating the economy of the GCC countries. It also ranked the second over the world in the cities group, in terms of the most international flows of trade, capital, population density and information; compared to their activity and their internal economy.
The challenge we encountered, was to settle on a name that is related to Bahrain’s ancient history, and its prosperous present. And, because of the desire to emulate Bahrain’s rooted history in goldsmithing - for which the Kingdom was known for since the sixties of the last century - the name was chosen to be “Golden Gate”.
Grnata Group has worked to weave the Golden Gate’s beautiful story through the perfect development, innovative designs and modern technology.
You can imagine your ideal story as you sit in your own apartment in one of the two towers. How wonderful would your presence be at sunset every day in the Bahrain Bay; as the golden rays shine in the horizon like gold, and, as the sea embraces this golden sparkle reflected from the surrounding buildings. And in the morning, you start your day happily in this golden landmark; sending hope and enjoying all the activities and global services. Only then, your Golden Gate story will begin, and you’ll wish it never ends.

United Tower offers a new twist on modern design, quite literally as it spirals to 50 storeys above the bay, offering residential units, office space and a hotel within.
